Kairos · Governed moment activation: an independent product by Kaushal Khodifad

Kairos · Governed moment activation is an independent product by Kaushal Khodifad in sales, marketing & service. Turn heat, rain, a cricket win or a bad-air day into ad decisions a brand can defend: AI drafts the rules, a named person approves each one, a deterministic engine decides, and every decision is on a tamper-evident record.

  • Deterministic trigger engine
  • Live AI rule drafting, budgeted
  • Maker-checker approvals

Independent work by Kaushal Khodifad on public and synthetic data. Where a real company is named, it anchors the domain only: this is not client work, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by any company named.

Moment marketing works, but it rarely has governance: rules nobody signs off, decisions nobody can replay, lift nobody can defend to finance. In Kairos an AI agent turns a plain-English brief into trigger rules over live signals (per-city weather and air quality, plus labelled simulated cricket, traffic and market feeds). Each rule needs a named approval, and one deterministic engine decides every city every cycle. Every decision maps to the ad-platform call that applies it and is written to a hash-chained evidence ledger. A geo-holdout model shows what the triggers would earn and the smallest lift the design can detect. Every visitor works in a private sandbox. Kairos is an independent concept with a synthetic brand; it is not affiliated with any company it names.

The problem

Moment marketing works: brands already pay to react to a heatwave, a monsoon downpour, a cricket win or a hazardous-air day. What they rarely have is governance. The trigger rules live in vendor consoles and spreadsheets, nobody signs them off one by one, and when finance or brand safety asks why an ad ran, or what it earned, the record does not hold up.

The design decision: the model writes, it never executes

  • An agent drafts. From a plain-English brief, a language model drafts creatives and declarative trigger rules. The output is validated against the real signal catalogue; if it fails, it is repaired or replaced by a labelled deterministic planner.
  • A person approves. A rule stays a proposal until a named approver signs it off (maker-checker).
  • An engine decides. One deterministic engine decides every city, every cycle: explicit priorities, suppressions that outrank activations, hysteresis, dwell, operator overrides and a fail-safe creative. Unknown or stale inputs can only stop a rule from firing.
  • Everything leaves evidence. Every proposal, approval, override and creative flip is appended to a hash-chained ledger that can be re-verified on demand.
  • Decisions reach the platforms. Each flip maps to the call that applies it: a decision feed, Meta Marketing API payloads (dry-run in this build) and a Google Ads Script that reconciles an account against the feed.

What is live and what is simulated

Live: per-city weather and air quality from public APIs, the decision engine, the approval gate, the AI rule author (on a daily budget, with a labelled fallback) and the evidence ledger. Simulated: the cricket, traffic and market feeds, ad delivery, and the conversion response in the incrementality model. That model runs the real engine over a geo holdout with a pre-period baseline, reports a bootstrap interval, and states the smallest lift the design can detect. Every visitor works in a private sandbox; the reference campaign cannot be changed from the page.

What an enterprise rollout needs

Licensed feeds with service levels (ball-by-ball cricket, exchange data); live platform connectors with a per-tenant ad-set mapping; single sign-on and role-based approvals; review of model-written copy before it can run; budget pacing and frequency caps; external anchoring of the evidence chain; and a holdout plan agreed with finance before launch.
